Based on the 2001 ASHRAE Fundamentals Handbook (Chapter 34), this tool calculates the local pressure loss (ζ) for a diverging tee fitting with a round branch connected to a rectangular main duct at a 45° angle. It can be used for fitting loss coefficient and pressure drop analysis in HVAC air duct design.
